Shifting sands of election politics

Election fraud update

Greetings and welcome to the FreedomSplash podcast for Thursday, December 22, 2022

Position of the courts

Up to now, conservatives have been at a huge disadvantage challenging election procedures and results.

Mailin ballot fraud, conspiracy between supposedly nonpartisan election officials and democrat hacks

But changes are coming and are already showing their effects

Georgia supreme court permits case to move forward

Case to examine paper ballots was dismissed for “lack of standing” last fall

Supreme court ordered the lower court to take up the case again

Same thing driving Kari Lake case in AZ based on federal court ruling allowing plaintiffs to sue for unspecified damages

Who decides about elections? Courts or legislatures?

Position of the Congress

Appropriations bill passes Senate to avoid government shutdown

Gives the VP ceremonial role in overseeing electoral count (violates the Constitution)

Text of the twelfth amendment governing tallying the electoral college votes

Position of localities

GE city reclaims is election responsibilities from Fulton County officials

Discovered that centralizing elections didn’t save them any money but cost them 2-3 times as much

Typical liberal nonsense always costs more

PA county to recount 2020 ballots

Lycoming County to recount ballots due to pressure from residents concerning transparency

5000 residents (out of 70,000 registered voters) signed petition to hand recount the ballots

And we are seeing more counties (MI, NH, NM, AZ) hand count their votes rather than rely on machines

These counties usually report anywhere from 6% to 25% error rates

Position of GOP

Trump made it harder for the GOP elites to control the primary process per McConnell

Mike Lindell is funding Kari Lake’s legal fees & challenges

Where is Trump? Where is GOP? Why should Trump support current GOP leadership?

AZ Lawsuits

Initial suits were all dismissed, including Kari Lake, AG candidate and

Rural voters in AZ get short end of stick because of Maricopa County problems

But the official narrative from the election continued to fall apart

Maricopa County added 25,000 ballots after election deadline

Maricopa County judge summarizes election

“I have no confidence at all this election was run fairly”

Whistleblowers say tens to hundreds of thousands of mail-in ballot signatures not properly verified

Then, first victory in Kari Lake lawsuit, and

Judge allows suit to continue but throws out easy things to prove and keeps the hardest parts

However, Kari Lake pulls the subpoena of Katie Hobbs, so she won’t have to testify

Trial began yesterday and continues today

AZ AG candidate also wins his ability to bring lawsuit in court – trial after 1st of year

My observations from the trial

Kari Lake attorney seems disorganized, defense lawyers obstruct (they have nothing) & judge is paying close attention while taking his own notes

Plaintiff (Kari Lake) is making huge gains about Maricopa County officials:

new revelations about paper size, not ink amounts

audit trail non-existence

Ignoring (i.e. violating) AZ election law
